We know paint is not just for painting furniture right? So we have teamed up with Sophie James Decor on this very special Two Day Technique & Product Furniture & Interior Workshop! and we will be honoured to welcome Tony Cheeld from his Essex based family paint business. You will have the chance to chat to him about technical queries, learn their sustainable ethos and how Sophie James Paints products can transform every room of your home, furniture and garden with an informative Q&A
What you will learn:
The workshop runs over two days.
The first day you will be colour mixing, how paint is made, where you can use it and testing different paint applications. Really its your chance to relax and play with paint! using different products to create amazing finishes for your furniture and your interior!
The second day you will using the techniques and knowledge you have learned on Day One and working on your own piece using Sophie James Paints products and finishes. With interior design knowledge Sarah can discuss all your paint colours queries and how to design a successful interior colour scheme for your home to transform your space.
A picture of your chosen piece will need to be emailed to us latest 5 days before the start of the workshop
You will need to bring :
- A small piece of furniture like a table, bedside cabinet or small chair
Any colour scheme ideas you may have for your furniture, colour drenching, feature walls and interiors.

Sarah, who was brought up on a farm, started her design career at the age of 11, experimenting with tools and materials, all adding to her expert knowledge on design repurposing upcycling items like bikes, and saddles which at that age the real thing wasn't obtainable to her!
Sarah studied Interior Design At KLC in London and armed with this passion for design she went on to renovate properties, create show house designs specialising in lighting for clients, working with Vaughan & Blyth and Swift Developments, with repurpose and sustainably focused in her schemes.
Writing her own course content, Sarah taught at a local Adult Education College then expanded by launching ReVamp.
ReVamp's workshops have now been featured on ITV, Carfest, Grand Designs Live and Westfields Good Festival London and we have carried out various wellbeing corporate workshops all over the UK.
